Jake and Mr. Sparky came to my rescue when a freak electrical fault in my breaker box nearly started a house fire. When I described the issue to him on the phone, and the fact that I had to shut off all power to protect the home, he immediately dropped everything and was at my front door within an hour to diagnose the issue. Within 24 hours, a brand new circuit panel was installed and I was back up and running. Jake even saved me $800 by finding a compatible breaker box so we wouldn't need to replace any breakers in the box. He and his apprentice Manny were prompt, professional, and completed the work in half the time they expected to. Between the luck of discovering the fault before it resulted in a fire, and Jake and Manny's quick response, no damage happened in the home. I would use Mr Sparky's again and will use them as my preferred electrician for my other properties.

Jake fixed multiple wiring issues called out on inspection report of new-to-me house. Very pleased he was able to do the work quickly, professionally and with evident skills of years of experience. Other larger contractors were scheduling weeks out. Jake came out late afternoon the day I called. Mr. Sparky’s (Jake) is AWESOME! He installed a generator switch yesterday, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Echoing others’ comments, Jake was punctual, honest, and didn’t mind pausing to answer my questions. My project was a little extra complicated because I asked him to wire the house to enable me to power it using my F150’s onboard generator. The truck kept giving us a grounding fault once given a load, and Jake took the extra time to ID and isolate the cause before calling it a day (which turned out to be an improperly wired dryer). I greatly appreciate the exceptional quality of service, and Mr. Sparky’s will hands-down be the first person I call (or recommend) if/when electrical work is needed in the future. Thank you, Jake!!

We have worked with Jake and Mr. Sparky's on several projects in our new home. We had a large chandelier hung in our dining room, a new ceiling fan in the main living room and 2 additional fans in den and guest bedroom. The work was performed just as we requested and the crew was professional, pleasant and wonderful to work with. Our most recent experience was a deck expansion and Jake was involved in hanging our new outdoor lights on the deck as well as a beautiful ceiling fan. Again, the attention to detail was perfect. I highly recommend Mr Sparky's Electric, Jake responded to my call quickly and scheduled me at a time convenient to me the next day. I had an issue with a baseboard heater that another electrician said they would have to rip out walls and rewire the baseboard from the breaker. I called Jake out for a second opinion and he discovered the root issue and fixed it without remodeling. I've called him out for a couple odds and ends since then, Mr Sparky's Electric is my go to from now on.

Great service and attention to detail. Jake was the 3rd person I had out at my house. Everything was flickering and turning off. The other 2 companies said it was coming from a junction box. Jake noticed something wasn’t right with my meter box and called MEA. Next thing I know, MEA is out at my house fixing the line running to my house!
